Based on the analysis and comparing the calculation results between analytical method and numerical simulation, the applicable work conditions of the software are summarized. According to the specific geological and engineering conditions of a certain subsea tunnel, the use of the soft FLAC3D in water inflow computation by taking nine typical profiles as examples is explained. The simulated project is set up based on analyzing the geological conditions and utilizing the hydro-geological model of half infinite space. The basic characteristics, analysis peculiarity and constitutive model of software FLAC3D are introduced.
